Per-user or all-users, with elevation handled

Install to %LocalAppData% with no admin prompt, or to Program Files with automatic UAC elevation that carries the chosen directory, scope and language across the restart. Unattended /ALLUSERS without rights fails cleanly before writing anything.

Upgrades in place, uninstalls only what it installed

A new version finds the previous install through Add/Remove Programs, upgrades it where it lives and removes files the new build no longer ships. Every install records a manifest, so the uninstaller leaves configuration, logs and documents untouched.

Drop-in for Inno Setup deployments

Generated installers accept /VERYSILENT, /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES, /DIR, /ALLUSERS, /CURRENTUSER, /NOICONS, /LOG and /LANG, with documented exit codes. Existing Intune packages and CI jobs keep working; unknown switches fail loudly instead of turning a silent rollout into a prompt.

BesaBuilder Studio is a modern installer studio for Windows 10 and 11. Point it at a Python, C#, Rust, Go or Node project and it compiles, signs and packages it into a single-file Setup.exe that runs on a clean machine with nothing pre-installed - no .NET runtime, no second download. Already have a build? Hand it the folder and it packages that instead.

Signing is built in, not bolted on. Every binary and the installer itself can be Authenticode-signed against an Azure Key Vault HSM certificate - meeting the CA/B Forum hardware requirements - or a local PFX, with RFC 3161 timestamps. A one-click test certificate lets you verify the whole chain before you buy a real one, and a signing failure aborts the build rather than handing you something SmartScreen will block.

The installer your users see is a dark, Fluent-style wizard in 14 languages with an optional licence-agreement step, per-user or all-users scope with automatic UAC elevation, and a running-app check that asks them to close the previous version before upgrading. Upgrades happen in place, and the uninstaller removes only what the installer created - configuration, logs and documents are left alone.
